Oh the open road... I hate it. I am the worst road tripper ever. I am miserable in the car for long periods of time (long periods of time meaning 3 hours or more). Brendan, myself and the two dogs will be heading on a road trip for 17 hours in a week and I am miserable thinking about. So I need your help! What are your favorite songs right now so I can make some CD's as well as your favorite comedians.....ready GO!

road trips can be a challenge, but music (and audio books) help pass the time. One of my favorite road trip songs is I've Been Everywhere by Johnny Cash :) If I think of more I'll tweet you (I'm terrible with remembering song names)!!!
i am super loving david sedaris right now, although i don't think he's someone i could listen to for a long time. i always find car trips are more fun with cheesy old school songs that both you and your partner know.
Ugh I hear ya. I'm ok if it's just me in the car for long periods of time but get me in the car with the hubs (who is the worlds slowest driver), a kiddo who just wants to do everything but be cooperative and 2 big dogs... recipe for disaster. And thank you for reminding me that I have to take a 9 hour one for Thanksgiving.
I downloaded a bunch of movies and put them on the ipad. we have an aux plug in the cruiser so I could plug it in and pretend it was surround sound.
and I played a lot of sudoku.
and listened to pandora. love pandora.
