Colorado Love

I am so excited to get married here next June! This is the Highlands Ranch Mansion. Brendan and I both grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and we both grew up 5 minute walking distance from this mansion. Way back in the day Highlands Ranch wasn't a suburb of Denver but it was a ranch. There were a variety of rich business men and their families that called the mansion home. Each owner completed their own rennovation to the mansion. The mansion is so rich with the history of Highlands Ranch but also rich with memories that Brendan and I had growing up. We both used to sneak up to the mansion as kids. The mansion often threw hay rides and ghost story telling during Halloween and they also had a huge Christmas party for kids that we both attended every year. I even went to the mansion for a father daughter ball when I was in second grade.

The mansion just received some major renovations to make it more event friendly. They added a carriage house that is the perfect spot for a wedding reception. When my Mom and I went to tour the mansions it was under complete construction and we wore hard hats and tried to imagine what the changes would look like. I am so glad that we choose the mansion as our wedding venue because of the personally connections we have to the building and also because it is beautiful.
