Take a second and look down at your nails... do your nails look like any of the nails above? Unpainted? Plain red? Plain Pink? If so I've got a challenge for you or more of a plea... to branch out with your nail polish selection. Step outside your comfort zone of the normal french manicure and let's spice it up a little, shall we?
Color is an easy way to get your toes wet when it comes to branching out with your nail polish selections. Next time you reach for that dull shade of red or that Barbie pink remember that the color spectrum goes far beyond red and pink my friends and your nails would appreciate a little color love.
2. The Accent Nail::
I frequently throw a little pizzazz into my nail routine with an accent nail. An accent nail is quite simply painting one nail a different shade, color or in my favorite case a shade of glitter. Here I painted my nails coral and added an accent nail on my ring finger of coral glitter. It adds a little something something to the mix and doesn't over take my whole hand with glitter, but still leaves me with a little bling.
